Creating designs and seeing them come to life is always rewarding, especially when I can develop a new skill. I learned so much from the suppliers I worked with and the network of creatives I met along the way. I learned how to screen-print, what it's like to direct a photoshoot and how to develop tech packs for manufacturers. It was quite an experience.
For the next time we develop merchandise, we'll collect footage and shoot images of behind the scenes. We'll also develop a marketing strategy and see if we can get more traction on social media. Because we had no marketing strategy, there was almost no online engagement. It was all word of mouth.
