I’m the owner and founder of yeyi.life llc. Throughout my career I felt limited by the constraints of my roles. That’s why I founded yeyi.life llc. I want to bring peoples ideas to life and build something complete. I want to craft something beautiful and have fun doing it.
I was born and raised in Oregon. In 2017, I graduated from The Art Institute of Portland with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic and Web Design. Early in my career, I worked in print and later moved into the digital space. I’ve designed creatives for RTIC, Scott’s Miracle Grow, NZXT and Victrola. At agencies and startups I learned how to support businesses of all sizes and design with speed and efficiency.
I’m a technical designer that loves, typography and the sophistication of simplicity. Sometimes all you need is a good photo and a few well-selected words for a successful ad, but it’s not always that simple. My goal is to craft solutions that’ll help businesses connect with their customers so that businesses can keep doing what they’re doing for their customers.
I like to solve Sudoku puzzles, listen to music, watch movies, play video games, make food and clean my apartment. Aside from those activities I just mentioned, I also have a few hobbies.
This is one of my first hobbies that I remember doing. I like sketching portraits of people and abstract scenes. I have several portraits I’ve amassed over the years that show my steady progression. I think drawing has helped me foster my imagination because I think about what my drawing would be like in real-life while drawing it.
I like coming up with designs for clothes that are durable, minimal and have a utility esthetic. I was inspired by my grandpa’s old mechanic overalls. He always had a knife, pens, pencils and papers with notes. My goal is to take that utility style and modernize it for everyday fashion.
Whether it’s building an overly complicated device that only has one purpose or simply fixing broken things; I love working with my hands. I use my imagination and affinity for the sciences whenever I start building something. You might find me walking through a Home Depot looking for wood, screws or a random tool I will probably only use once.
